Sweet spot for hunting or vacation getaway: This large(142 acre) property sits atop a ridge, making an ideal habitat and runs for whitetail and wild turkey. With an 15+ acre open field providing ample area to park, leave your RV, camp or build your own off-grid cabin or home.
Several private open areas would make great areas for plots of leave for bedding areas. Mostly wooded, there is a nice logging trail system that takes you throughout the property, where there is a mix of hardwoods, including oak, maple, cherry, ash and beech, as well as softwoods.
Apple trees are located sporadically around the property, providing an additional attractive food source for deer, turkey and area wildlife, in addition to the acorn mast and browse. Not surprisingly, there were abundant deer and turkey signs when the property was recently walked.
Potential income sources on the property could come from future timber harvests. Surrounding farms and crop lands enhance the diversity of the habitat and are a draw for Whitetail to traverse the property as well as use it for cover, browse and bedding.
