Lofton Island is an approximately 9.3-acre private island set in the Caloosahatchee River, directly beneath the Edison Bridge in the heart of downtown Fort Myers' River District. It is one of the only privately held, fully-entitled islands of its size in Southwest Florida, and it is coming to market during a generational wave of public and private

redevelopment along the downtown riverfront, including the reopening of Legacy Harbour Marina, Suntex Marinas' planned expansion of the Fort Myers Yacht Basin, the 21-story ONE Fort Myers condominium tower, and the City's Innovation Walk riverfront master plan.

The site carries by-right Commercial-Intensive (CI) zoning, entitling hotel/resort, marina, restaurant and bar, entertainment, and high-density residential uses without the need for rezoning.
