Situated on 27 acres m/l, this property offers a retreat into nature that feels like you're miles away from everything. Conveniently located just 1 mile from Highway 30 and 2.5 miles from Mount Vernon, you can find the middle of nowhere feeling just a few minutes from town.
Tucked back a long private lane, the 1,532 square foot cottage, built in 2004, features 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom and is completely surrounded by mature trees. Next to the cottage sits a grain bin turned gazebo, a shed, and a fire pit, all of which add to the peacefulness that come with the land.
Near the front of the property sits numerous grain bins and outbuildings. The 60x96 building features concrete flooring and electricity that provides excellent storage or a workspace. A further benefit of the property is the building potential. Timber lots that are buildable with existing improvements and no neighbors is very difficult to find.
Walnut trees, an abundance of wildlife, and a creek running through the northwest side of the property all add to its natural appeal. The seller has two adjacent parcels for sale and would prefer selling them in aggregate at a discounted price to maintain the beauty of the entire property.
However, they are now offering to sell parcels individually. This property is located in the Mount Vernon School District. Whether you're looking for a recreational property to escape from town and get into nature, or want to build a home in the woods, you'll want to check this one out.
