The original structure was built in 1735, with a major, two story addition added in 1804. Many details have withstood the test of time, and this home is a stunning statement for any old-house enthusiast. If you envy the history as a preservationist, conservationist, or restorationist, you just found your personal Xanadu. From the original fireplaces and paneling to the structural "bones" in the attic and basement, all the right features are here, as spacious rooms, cozy environs, and heartfelt warmth are the mantras. Much of the original trim, flooring, doors, and moldings are prevalent, and that impact speaks volumes. The bathrooms are recently updated, and there are newer appliances. The cedar roofs are no more than 7 years old. The outdoor environment is lush and well maintained. There's a kidney shaped in-ground pool, beautiful gardens, and even a large flat lawn that once served as a home to a full-sized English croquet court. The large old barn dates well back in time, and there's a gazebo for quiet reflection and outdoor meals. Several other smaller buildings exist for all types of storage. And then there's the newer building (1997) - a combination of a two-car garage, a huge studio/workshop, a smaller storage room, and a roughly 1700 sq. ft. in-law apartment on the second floor. Approximately 30 acres of farmland is organic. Drive-bys are welcomed, but please do not pull in the driveway without a confirmed appointment. ## Location - **Address:** 167 Beebe Hill Road, Canaan, CT 06031 - **County:** Litchfield - **Coordinates:** 41.946344, -73.354672 - **Google Maps:** https://www.google.com/maps?q=41.946344,-73.354672 ## Listing Agent - **Name:** Dave Mallison - **Brokerage:** William Pitt Sotheby's Int'l - **Broker Phone:** 8604352400 - **Listing URL:** [View original listing](https://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/167-Beebe-Hill-Rd_Falls-Village_CT_06031_M40506-96563?f=listhub&s=CTMLS&m=24187539&c=propsimple) ## Photos ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 1](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f293788616r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 2](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f2427793532r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 3](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f938025204r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 4](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f1017439247r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 5](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f1030847978r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 6](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f2275293382r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 7](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f2883061568r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 8](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f402773427r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 9](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f134247552r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 10](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f3351423771r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 11](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f2416585360r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 12](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f514076778r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 13](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f1830614656r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 14](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f1189104152r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 15](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f2437597993r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 16](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f977634602r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 17](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f2641399783r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 18](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f2600945123r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 19](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f2130326787r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 20](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f966225159r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 21](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f1258768904r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 22](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f1287212957r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 23](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f1633787865r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 24](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f152114433r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 25](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f577382725r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 26](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f890266383r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 27](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f2864061752r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 28](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f254545573r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 29](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f1169448813r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 30](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f2511321382r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 31](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f2436919882r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 32](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f3321001298r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 33](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f644592414r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 34](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f1309918446r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 35](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f3752451334r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 36](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f2999125526r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 37](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f3097044597r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 38](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f870264495r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 39](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f2527764323r.jpg) ![167 Beebe Hill Road - Photo 40](http://lh.rdcpix.com/9a46460280ef9f97fc8256d16fb58768l-f94390524r.jpg) --- **MLS#:** 24187539 | **Updated:** 2026-10-25 **Source:** listhub *Copyright © 2026 SmartMLS, Inc.
