While the home has been loved as much as humanly possible, it currently needs a compassionate touch - including a full plumbing overhaul due to burst pipes - and is priced specifically to reflect this opportunity. The interior is a masterpiece of craftsmanship, featuring original hardwood floors, exquisite woodwork, and a sprawling layout of six bedrooms (permit not found yet, will update accordingly upon receipt) and six full baths, including private en suites for every upstairs bedroom and a complete second living quarters on the lowest level. This home literally breathes local history with massive windows salvaged from Asheville High School and Spring Creek School, flooding the space with light and a "one with nature" feel. The grounds are a true sanctuary, featuring a creek in the front, a natural spring with an old reservoir, a greenhouse, and a large RV garage/workshop. Located less than an hour from Asheville and Waynesville, this unique mountain retreat is a majestic blank canvas ready for its next chapter.
