2 Knowles Avenue, Milo, ME 04463

Housing prices have gotten a little carried away. This ol' girl at 2 Knowles Avenue has declined to participate. With a 1950s trailer in the back and an addition in the front, she wears her retro roots proudly—right down to the shape, original wood closets, and vintage trim work.

There's even a wood-burning fireplace, because apparently someone decided this trailer deserved the full house experience. And they committed: there's a full foundation underneath the entire thing, trailer included. Set on a nice corner lot with a metal roof, this home is livable as it is, with room for improvements as time and budget allow.

She needs some love, and a few decades have left their calling cards, but there's plenty here to appreciate if you like your real estate affordable and your character factory-installed. Bring your ideas, your toolbox, and a healthy appreciation for a home that has been doing its own thing since the Eisenhower administration.
