Three Lakes Motel is located in south-eastern Baraga County, on US 41 in the Three Lakes area of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, a four seasons playground. This opportunity allows you to live, work and play without leaving home. There are many lakes nearby, including George, Beaufort, Michigamme, and Ruth within 5 miles.
Several of these lakes provide public access for fishing, swimming, boating and canoeing. The motel was built in 1962 & is situated on just under 4 acres. It includes ten guest rooms, and a caretaker's residence with office adjoined. The motel office has a continental breakfast area with seating & a small gift shop with unique U.P. items. The caretaker's unit is a completely renovated two-bedroom, one bath residence in the middle of the motel with a 1/2 basement.
The Motel was recently updated w/all energy efficient double pane vinyl frame windows, two hot water heaters were added to accommodate for demand, and the rear of the motel has been insulated and re-sided. The guest rooms have been updated with insulation, drywall, flooring, furniture, and shower surrounds.
The rooms also have a 42" TV, microwave and mini refrigerator. There is ample storage between the detached garage, pole building, workshop and shed. There will be plenty of room for vehicles, lawn care & snow removal equipment. The circle drive in front of the motel can accommodate parking space for cars, large vehicles, campers, trailers and boats.
