Your Northwoods Story Begins at 2815 Schaeffer Road, Burntside Lake, Ely, Mn. Some places simply hold you. This vintage seasonal cabin on beautiful Burntside Lake is one of them - a quiet, charmed escape where towering pines frame big water views and every sunset feels hand-painted.

Step inside to rustic warmth and lake light. Step outside to the full-size deck, where morning coffee lingers a little longer and the sauna - Finnish, woodfired, and lake-adjacent - turns evenings into ritual. A roll-out aluminum dock invites you closer, a soft sand beach invites you in, and the clear Burntside water does the rest.

The expansive lot gives room to breathe, dream, and imagine. And a newer 22*24 garage with finished loft stretches the possibilities - guest quarters, lakeside studio, or your own creative hideaway. Perched minutes from Ely and the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, this cabin is both retreat and opportunity: a seasonal sanctuary, an adventurer's basecamp, and a rare slice of paradise on one of Minnesota's most beloved lakes.
