Offered for the first time in its history, this extraordinary 38.98+/- acre legacy property presents a unique opportunity to own a remarkable piece of California history. Originally acquired through the historic Spanish Land Grant, this land has remained in the same family for generations after the seller's grandfather became the first private citizen to own the property.
Formerly a productive farm growing strawberries, squash, walnuts and more, the fertile soil has remained out of production for approximately 50 years. The original walnut orchard still stands today. Completely private and secluded, the property includes a second parcel (APN 181-111-011-000) providing a private paved driveway.
Improvements include a 135 gallon well with two pumps serving the upper and lower portions, an approximate 100' x 70' reservoir, a 100' x 40' barn, and two mobile homes, one partially remodeled and ideal while building or for rental potential. Zoning allows up to four units and approximately 85 horses or cattle perfect for a boarding horse business or use to graze cattle.
Enjoy breathtaking oak-studded hills with panoramic views to Santa Cruz. A truly rare opportunity to create an exceptional estate, equestrian property, agricultural venture, or multi-family compound. (buyer to verify zoning)
