I was built in 1950, in a time when homes were crafted with intention, where porches weren’t just an add-on, but a place to gather, to slow down, to watch the world go by. Nestled in “Booger Town,” one of the most cherished pockets of historic downtown Camden.

For nearly 20 years, I’ve been home to the same family. I’ve held birthday celebrations and holiday dinners, early mornings filled with sunlight through my windows, and evenings where laughter lingered long after the day was done. And recently,I’ve been refreshed for my next chapter.

My walls have been painted from top to bottom, giving me a light, airy feel while still holding onto my original character. My hardwood floors have been beautifully refinished, bringing back the warmth and richness that only time and craftsmanship can create.

Step inside, and you’ll find room to live the way life was meant to be lived. Multiple living spaces invite both connection and quiet moments, whether it’s gathering with friends, hosting family, or simply unwinding at the end of the day. My sunken living room offers a cozy retreat, while my formal spaces stand ready for celebrations both big and small.

But if I’m honest, my favorite place is my front porch. That’s where mornings begin with coffee in hand and the soft hum of the neighborhood waking up, where evenings slow down, where stories are shared, where the scent of azaleas drifts through the air in the spring.

It’s where time seems to stretch just a little longer. Beyond my walls, life here is just as special. A short stroll takes you to local favorites like American Patriot Coffee Company, Greener Pastures Brewery, and into the heart of downtown, where history, community, and charm are part of everyday life.

I’ve also been thoughtfully prepared for the years ahead. With updates like new plumbing, updated ductwork, an encapsulated crawlspace by Cantey, I give not just beauty, but peace of mind. Homes like me don’t come along often. Not here. Not with this kind story, this story, this kind of setting, this kind of soul. I’ve been loved well. I’ve been cared for deeply.
