There are places that are beautiful, and then there are places where something rare happens every single day. From this half-acre on the slopes of Haleakala, the setting sun travels along an immense Pacific horizon every evening of the year. - Set on approximately 24,433 square feet, this elevated property overlooks South Maui and coastline below -
across the Pacific to Kaho'olawe, Molokini, Lana'i and Moloka'i, with the West Maui Mountains completing the panorama. This South Maui view is found nowhere else in Hawai'i-and even within Maui Meadows, very few properties capture it this completely. - From winter solstice to summer solstice and back again, the sunset moves daily along that horizon, changing the light across the ocean, islands and mountains with the seasons.
At night, the moon appears. - Trade winds move through the property and evenings cool. Open and yet private on the hillside, it is a setting for an artful, inspired home, only minutes from the beaches, restaurants and life of Wailea / Makena and South Maui.
- A 3/4" county water meter is already in place, with possibilities for a main residence and additional ohana dwellings, subject to applicable approvals. - Nature is its greatest asset, and it cannot be constructed. Here, Maui's extraordinary beauty isn't an occasional experience. It happens every day.
