Trees are watered by drip irrigation through an agreement with the Lake Proctor Irrigation Authority which delivers approximately 1 ac-ft of water per acre yearly.

The orchard also benefits from annual soil aeration, yearly applications of nitrogen and zinc, and biannual application of a balanced fertilizer blend. A hedging program is also used to maximize pecan production and quality. Other improvements include 1,152 sqft office, bunkhouse for employees and almost 14,000 sqft of space with all machinery for cleaning, processing, and shipping harvested pecans.
