In the famous town of Woodstock, NY, iconic Abbey Road offers a rare opportunity to own five acres of a remarkable piece of history and build your own future. Long before the music festival made the name ''Woodstock'' famous around the world, the town was a mecca for artists, musicians, actors, and writers.
That creative spirit remains part of Woodstock's identity today. The town has its own Artists' Cemetery, film and art festivals that attract nationally recognized talent, and a long musical history that brought hundreds of musicians here to record and perform.
Among them were musical pioneers Bob Dylan and Joe Cocker, whose connection to the legendary Joyous Lake helped make the venue world-famous. Today, Woodstock continues to draw people for its distinctive mix of art, music, culture, and natural beauty. Explore independent shops and celebrated restaurants, see a performance at Byrdcliffe Theater, visi
t the Woodstock Artists Association or the Woodstock School of Art, and browse local craft fairs and farmers' markets. High on Overlook Mountain, the Karma Triyana Dharmachakra Tibetan Buddhist monastery offers another dimension of the area's unique character, while the Ashokan Reservoir provides a spectacular connection to the Catskills and New York City's water supply.
Or simply sit quietly and listen to the weekly drumming circle. Just two hours from New York City by train or bus, Woodstock offers the rare combination of history, creativity, community, and natural beauty. Now, at Abbey Road, you have the opportunity to become part of that history and create something entirely your own.
