Welcome to Tanbark Cove, an exclusive residential community where timeless natural beauty meets thoughtful, intentional design. Nestled atop Lookout Mountain in the West Brow community and just 25 minutes from downtown Chattanooga, this private 120-acre neighborhood offers homesites ranging from 0.66 to 2.06 acres.
Tanbark Cove was carefully planned to feel established, peaceful, and connected to the land from the moment you arrive. Much of the foundational work has already been completed, including paved road access, thoughtfully laid-out homesites, neighborhood amenities, and an extensive trail system, allowing buyers to focus on designing and building a home that complements this remarkable mountain setting.
Created for those who value privacy, nature, and refined living, Tanbark Cove is more than a development, it is a retreat. Three miles of private walking trails wind through pristine hardwood forests and connect residents to two stocked ponds, a stocked community lake, natural rock outcroppings, and the historic Nickajack Road trail along the banks of Tucker Branch Creek, a secluded mountain creek few have had the opportunity to experience.
Every element of Tanbark Cove has been approached with purpose, preserving the land's natural character while creating a cohesive setting for sophisticated mountain architecture. With the vision, infrastructure, and amenities already taking shape, these homesites offer a rare opportunity to begin building within one of Lookout Mountain's most thoughtfully designed communities.
