Home of the famous Spoon Buttes, the topography of the ranch provides unlimited nature protection for livestock and is ideal for a year-round cow operation and/or a yearling operation.
The ranch is owner-rated at 350+/- head for year-round grazing, or approximately 1,000 yearlings during the summer grazing months. Sheep Creek travels through a portion Spoon Buttes Ranch, providing livestock and wildlife water during the spring and summer months.
The improvements on the Spoon Buttes Ranch include a new 96'X48' shop with electricity, 6-inch concrete floors, and 14-foot overhead doors. This building includes an office/vet room that is equipped with bathroom that includes a shower, plus a tack room with heat and has been recently remodeled including new wiring.
Also included is a set of working corrals constructed of concrete railroad ties and drill stem pipe. The property features multiple solar and electric wells along with an underground pipeline. Rock outcroppings along with pine and cedar tree-lined canyons provide natural protection for livestock and are home to trophy mule deer, white tail deer, antelope, and coyotes for the hunting enthusiast.
