Ideal location for anyone desiring a private and secluded domain! This is one of the most intriguing 12.5+/- acres that I've ever seen. The seller originally purchased the property simply to ride her horses. The land has remained unchanged since that purchase.
Decades ago, the Mead Paper Company owned this property and had installed a bridge over Ruff Butte Creek. Hurricane Ivan in visited NC in 2004,the elderly bridge was heavily damaged and was removed completely. Currently, the access to the property means a short walk across and through Ruff Butte Creek.
Your shoes will get wet!!!! Have your Buyer's Agent call me and I will give specific directions to the crossing point and the location for the deeded Right of Way. Depending upon any new owner's plans for the property, a new bridge is more than likely to be necessary.
There is a F.S. road on the property and several dirt roads used by Mead when they owned the property. . This property is BEAUTIFUL and feels untouched! There are many areas with flattish potential house sites, visible views of Ruff Butte Creek and definitely the awesome sound of the creek.
Many species of native plants thrive on this property, there's a great diversity of trees and wildlife love this area. If you are looking for quiet and seclusion; this property is worth every drop of getting your feet wet to look at it!!! Schedule an appointment with your Buyer's Agent soon to visit the property.
